Meet Crystal Cooper

Crystal Cooper is the Director of Nutrition Support Services for Chicago Public Schools (CPS), which serves 350,000 students at 660 schools. Crystal oversees and directs staffing, compliance, finance, and IT for Nutrition Support Services at CPS. This includes 2,700 lunchroom employees in two unions, onsite reviews for over 660 school locations, and a $210 million annual budget.
She holds her B.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and received her M.B.A. from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
