The Urban School Food Alliance was formed in 2012 to address the unique needs of the nation’s largest school districts. As a nonprofit group, we share best practices and leverage our purchasing power to continue to drive food quality up and costs down while incorporating sound environmental practices. This mission is driven by our passion to provide our 3.3 million students delicious and healthy meals – proper nutrition they need to do well in school.
We have made great strides in achieving our mission with the support of partner organizations and individuals who believe and share our vision. In this season of giving, we ask that you continue to support the Urban School Food Alliance by making a tax deductible donation on the support page on our website.
And if you happen to shop on Amazon for your daily needs, we ask that you choose to the Urban School Food Alliance as your partner nonprofit. That way a percentage of your purchases will be donated to the Alliance to help us continue our work in service of students across America. We can’t do it without you!
We, the Urban School Food Alliance, are at the forefront of making school meals the best that they can be each and every day. We want to make sure that we have a voice in the national conversation to help shape the rules and regulations governing school food. We invite you to learn more about us by visiting our website and by engaging with us on Facebook and Twitter.
