Margaret Brown is a Senior Attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council where she advocates for more just and sustainable food systems in New York and other regions around the United States. In particular, Margaret brings legal and policy tools to partnerships working to improve school food, develop the growing field of food law, advance community-designed food justice campaigns, and pass innovative city and state policies to build healthy, equitable, sustainable and resilient regional food systems.
