Meet Valeria La Rosa

USFA Council Member
Valeria La Rosa is the Senior Program Manager for Life Time Foundation, the charitable arm of the Life Time family. Following her mission-driven personality and passion for healthy living, Val joined the Foundation in 2014, and today, she leads their collaborative work with schools and organizations to provide all kids with nourishing, minimally processed foods and access to safe, enriching physical activity.
As program manager, Val collaborates with school food professionals and other non-profit partners, learning about their successes and challenges with the goal of making a healthy way of life more accessible for kids across the country, specifically those in historically underserved communities.
Val is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has enjoyed living in the U.S. for almost 22 years. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel, spend time with friends and play in the mountains.
