Big congratulations to our 2025 Farm to School Innovation Award winners! In December, at the National Farm to School Conference hosted by the National Farm to School Network, the Urban School Food Alliance proudly co-presented these awards with our friends at Pilot Light.Our winners were:
Gulf of Maine Research Institute – “Don’t Flounder! Local Fish is Fin-tastic!”Bringing delicious, sustainable local seafood to school trays across New England 
Kamehameha Schools (Maui, Hawaii) – “Revitalizing Ancestral Palates”Reconnecting students with culturally-relevant, sustainable foods rooted in Native Hawaiian traditions 
These incredible programs show what’s possible when we innovate, celebrate culture, and source locally. Here’s to more kids across the country eating food that’s good for them, their communities, and the planet!
