Millions of children in the largest school districts of the U.S. will get extra fresh fruits and vegetables, plus information on cooking, farming as part of Fresh Attitude Week, celebrated by the Urban School Food Alliance May 6 to 10.
The annual event is for U.S. school districts in the alliance, along with schools in France and Hungary, to raise awareness about fresh fruits and vegetables in schools, according to a news release.
